Peter and M.J. have been working on an experiment to make M.J. a spider-woman so that she will not constantly be captured by Peter's enemies (and even help him fight crime)! They are about done with the serum when one night Peter gets taken by the Green Goblin and M.J decides it's her turn to save the day. Too bad she grabbed the wrong serum...
