Dylan Cooper had been unsure whether going to the convention was alright or not. After all, he did not want his curse to spoil the fun.
His younger brother Max encouraged him to go (although this may have been because Max did seem to have a fetish for turning into a woman).
Emily was the decider. She had specially prepared for him a pair of bracelets that inhibited the curse within him, and so the three of them were able to attend the convention together.
For most of the day, as Dylan wandered the convention hall dressed as Batman, he was fine. However, he could feel the curse struggling to be free deep within himself.
At 3 o'clock, the magical energy built up within him broke free and unleashed hell upon the main convention hall. A pulse of energy surged through everybody, transforming the men into women. Emily watched in horror as her own breasts swelled and expanded, an action that had never happened before.
Within the space of a few seconds, thousands of people had been transformed... and the Coopers had yet another headache to deal with.
