With Naruto a slave to his work and Sasuke still a brooding loner, the Ichiraku Ramen shop needed to empty its inventory. Previously, this would've never been a problem because Naruto would stop by and eat his fill so often it would help clear out the extra food in Ichiraku Ramen. However, ever since Naruto became the Hokage, he'd had less time to come by the shop, leaving it overstocked... what was a ramen shop owner to do?
His solution? Discount ramen sale! Again, this would normally bring in tons of customers... but timing wasn't kind, since the town was empty with most people on missions or otherwise out of town. Not all was lost, however! Hinata and Sakura had just gotten back from a long and tiring trip out of town and wanted something filling. They both spotted the "discount ramen" sign and jumped right in. Showing no hesitation, they started wolfing down one ramen bowl after another without a care in the world, laughing and eating and drinking and eating some more!
By the time they were done, they'd outgrown most of their clothes and the stools they were sitting on had broken. Even more than that, they'd both grown so fat that both of them now took up the whole shop!
Still, for some reason, they didn't seem to really care. All they cared about was if they could get any more ramen...
