Emma stared in shock at the woman mirroring her movements from inside the reflective glass. She’d always yearned for the attention of her peers, but unfortunately never quite claimed it as her own. She was too small, too unassuming. Always the girl next door, never the bombshell.
And so when she found the Stone of Desires at the local trinket store, she didn’t see the harm in trying. If only she’d known there would be this “big” of a caveat… Well, she may have put some more thought into her words.
But she didn’t. And so standing in the mirror just seconds ago she spoke aloud, “I don’t wanna be a wallflower anymore, I’m sick of being overlooked! I want to be the center of attention, I wish… I wish I was more noticeable!”
And in a flash, her willowy frame exploded outward in every direction. Formerly loose clothes clung tight to her threatening to snap and tear at any given moment. She gained pound upon pound, stone upon stone, inch upon inch, size upon size; 0, 4, 8, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20…
Now as she stared out through unchanged eyes, gasping at the swollen cheeks, prodding at rounded arms, in disbelief at the sight of her massive, overstuffed ass and childbearing hips; her heart sank. Gone was the wispy girl who never quite grew into herself. Gone was the bookish wallflower she’d been all her life. Emma was something very different now. She was big. Huge even. Maybe even the biggest girl some had ever met. The photo on her dresser from last summer would remind her of that for a long time. But aside from all that, and most of all... she was noticeable.
